FAQs

Why can’t I buy your products from your website?

We believe that to truly understand the benefits offered by Armera, and to get the best advice on making your dream bathroom a reality, our products are best viewed physically in one of our selected retail partners.

Find retailers near you in our search facility.

How do I know if my chosen product is suitable for my water system?

Next to all taps and showers in the Products section of our website, you will find the following symbols:
LPLP (Low pressure):
This indicates the product can be used on ANY system, therefore making selection easy whilst guaranteeing user satisfaction.
MPMP (Medium Pressure):
This indicates that the product requires a minimum 1 bar pressure. These products will not give satisfactory performance on a gravity fed plumbing system and will require a combination boiler, pumped system or un-vented cylinder. Please talk to your retailer or contact us directly for further advice.

My toilet has constantly running water?

You may need to clean or replace the flush valve. Please click here to select the relevant model of WC or concealed cistern and refer to the product instructions on how to perform this procedure.

The water from my thermostatic shower is too hot/too cold.

First, please check that your hot and cold water pressures are balanced. All thermostatic valves need equal pressures on the hot and cold water inlets.

If pressures are balanced and you are still facing issues controlling the water temperature, your thermostatic cartridge may need to be re-calibrated, cleaned or descaled. Please click here to select the relevant model of thermostatic valve and refer to the product instructions on how to perform this procedure.

Do I have to maintain my ARMERA shower valve and how?

We recommend maintenance should be performed every 6 to 12 months, depending on the hardness of the water in your area.  Maintenance needs to include de-scaling and re-calibration. Please click here to select the relevant model of thermostatic valve and refer to the product instructions on how to perform this procedure.
